I am a resident of Santa Cruz, and enjoy living “between the redwoods and the deep blue sea.” A Bronx, New York, native, I received my B.S. in Biology from Fordham University in 1977, and my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University in 1982. I have worked in New York, Connecticut, Texas and now California as a “dog and cat” doctor. I moved to Mountain View in 1989 (just in time for the earthquake), subsequently fell in love with Santa Cruz, and moved here after my son, Tim, was born in 1996.
I enjoy medicine and surgery and believe in the importance of regular dentistry for pets. I have a side interest in nutrition and energy medicine and I am a certified Reiki Master. When not at work, I like doing “mom things,” walks on the beach or in the local forests, camping, kayaking and being a groupie for Rapid Fire, the local teen rock band in which my son plays bass guitar. I am delighted to be a part of the Companion Animal Hospital team.
